Instructions

Step 1: Make a house

The first step to make a cardboard gingerbread house is to make a cardboard house. Luckily, we have a handy guide to that, which we prepared earlier. Check it out here!

Step 2: Candy coat the roof

Now it’s time to make this house a bit sweeter! You can use white felt to make the frosted roof by attaching it with Scrus at this step, or use white cardboard. Alternatively, fold a white sheet or blanket so that it’s a bit larger than the roof, drape it over the top and tuck the edges between the roof panels to hold it in place. You can even make icicles from white paper or cardboard and attach them along the edges of the roof for a realistic winter look!

Step 3: Decorate the walls, windows, and door.

Use your Fold-Roller to draw circles, squares and triangles onto your red and green cardboard, then cut them out with a Safe-Saw. Use Scrus to attach these candy pieces in patterns around the door and windows, or as randomly as you like on the walls.
