When will my order arrive?

Delivery to Australia:
Standard shipping orders are dispatched within 2 business days and generally arrive 3-6 business days from dispatch. Express delivery orders generally arrive within 1-3 business days from dispatch. Orders in Australia are dispatched via Australia Post.



Delivery to New Zealand:
We ship to New Zealand primarily via Aramex NZ, but we may also use NZ Post on occasion. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days and generally arrive 4-9 business days from dispatch. Scanning may be delayed for 5-7 days on your tracking until the last mile of its journey, and we include this delay in our delivery estimate.

Sorry to say, it is not possible for you to collect your Makedo order from our warehouse in Sydney or Perth.

Can I collect my order from Makedo HQ in Melbourne?

Our stock is not stored at Makedo HQ in Abbotsford, Melbourne, so we are not able to facilitate order pickups from this location.

Can I pop in to see what you do at Makedo HQ in Melbourne?

Although our team are all friendly and very interesting in their own right, the busy Makedo HQ office is not set up as a public showroom. Sorry to say but we are not open to the general public for pop-ins and random chats. Please do feel free to say hi if you see us out and about in the local neighbourhood!

If your Makedo order was submitted with incorrect or incomplete address details, was subject to customs fees that were unpaid by the receiver, or was not collected within a specified time from a collection point (eg, your local post office), it may be returned to our dispatch warehouse. When your returned order is received back at the warehouse it was shipped from, we will notify you via email to offer a re-shipment for an additional freight fee or a refund for the cost of products.

We are not liable for any orders returned to sender due to unpaid customs or duty fees, or incorrect address information supplied. Regrettably we are not able to offer a refund or replacement for orders returned to sender until they have been received at our dispatch warehouse.

Once your parcel has shipped it becomes the responsibility of the courier service. We do not offer refunds or free returns for orders received after the estimated delivery date.

Do you offer Express Shipping?

Currently there is no expedited shipping service for orders travelling to the regions listed.

How will I know when my order has been dispatched?

We will send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number when your order has shipped from our warehouse. Please allow up to 48 hours for your order’s first scan with the carrier to display on your tracking history.

You may receive additional emails from us as your order moves through its journey to notify you of any delays and if your parcel has been taken to a collection point.

It is your responsibility as the order’s recipient to ensure you also monitor the order tracking link initially provided.

Will I need to pay customs/import fees?

Orders travelling between countries may be subject to customs and import duties upon reaching its country of destination. You will be responsible for paying all customs and import duties and acknowledge that failure to pay may result in your order being held at customs. We will not be liable for any costs you may incur in having your order released from customs, including reimbursing you for any customs or import duties you may pay.

I don’t see my region listed in your shipping information - are you able to ship there?

If you don’t see your region listed above, please reach out to our team at hello@make.do to check your shipping options. We are regrettably not able to ship to every region worldwide, but we will do our best to help you access Makedo. We may be able to point you towards your local stockist or an alternative distributor.

My shipment has been routed via another country on its way to me - is this correct?

Your DHL shipment may travel through countries other than its origin or destination, most often Germany, which serves as a major international hub for DHL. This is part of the standard shipping route and does not indicate an issue with your shipment. We factor this processing time into your estimated delivery time.

Secure Delivery Location

It is the recipient's responsibility to ensure that you have a safe, secure location for your package if you are not home at the time of delivery.


Packages left at the delivery address are at risk of being stolen after being left by the courier or postal service.

Depending on the courier and the options available for your region, your parcel may be taken to a post office, parcel locker or collection point for pickup if your parcel is unable to be left, however this is not a guaranteed service.
While we will do everything in our power to assist you locate your package, Makedo does not issue automatic refunds or replacements for packages stolen or damaged after being marked as Delivered.

What can I do if my order is delayed in transit?

If your order appears to be delayed in transit, with no ETA provided on your tracking link, or if there has been a significant delay on your package's scanning on its way to you, we strongly recommend reaching out to the courier service listed on your order's tracking link.

They will be able to provide you with delivery updates directly.

Returns

To initiate a return request for a change of mind, please contact us and provide as much information as possible to support your request. Our support staff will assess and respond accordingly.

Please note that stock will need to be unopened and in saleable condition and the return shipping is at your cost.

Changes to Orders and Order Cancellations

Your order will be processed according to the shipping address entered at checkout. It is the responsibility of the customer to enter the shipping address correctly prior to checkout.

Once your order is placed, we offer the option to change your shipping address or cancel your order for a full refund within one hour of your order being placed. This can be done via your confirmation page or your order confirmation email only.
